First off let me say that contrary to how things may appear I am still very much alive--and so is this campaign.  Like many of you, I have been watching our nation spiral downward for many years and the dumpster fire that has been 2022 has certainly underscored the need for fresh leadership in Washington.  From a practical perspective there are a limited number of maneuvers available to me until after the mid term elections so I have decided to dedicate the remainder of the year to doing media work.  Because the American people seem increasingly less interested in receiving their news from corporations bought and paid for by the special interests I'm in no rush to appear on traditional mainstream media outlets such as Fox News and CNN.  Rather, I will seek out appearances on a handful of select, independent programs that welcome honest and open exchanging of ideas.  I've also decided to skip out on all of the social media stuff for this particular campaign, at least for the time being.  The reasoning here is twofold.  First off (and most importantly,) I just don't have time for it.  Second, you can't cancel something that doesn't exist.  Lastly, I'd like to thank all of you reading this for your patience my apparent inactivity.  I assure you, there's a lot going on behind the scenes over here.  Remember, this is going to be a marathon, not a sprint.  Oh yeah and Happy Labor Day weekend!
